I would like to extend an invitation to your community to participate in our Communities for Telecom Rights project. The Communities for Telecom Rights project is a statewide network of over 40 non-profit, community-based organizations (CBOs). It is a unique and unprecedented effort to provide telecommunications consumer education and protection to limited-English consumers, especially Asian and Hispanic consumers, in California, regarding issues such as "slamming", "cramming", prepaid phone cards, dial-around, cell phones, etc. Please visit – www.telecomrights.net for more details.
Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA) provides workshops regarding these telecom issues. We would like to offer our free services to your organization during your weekly or monthly meetings, and we can accommodate to your schedule as needed. Founded in 1972, SIPA provides health and human services, community economic development and arts/cultural programs to youth and families in multi-ethnic Historic Filipinotown as well as for the Los Angeles Pilipino American community.

Search to Involve Pilipino Americans (SIPA) assists many individuals with their questions and concerns regarding their phone bills. This free service is available to the public, and is especially helpful to non-English speaking, elderly, and disabled consumers.
