Join As Members

The Parent Corps creates a network of parents who support the school to achieve a shared goal: to foster a healthy environment in which students can develop academically, emotionally, and socially to become responsible, capable, productive adults.

Currently there are nineteen schools in nine states nationwide that are approved to start the Parent Corps as a pilot program. We are grateful that the only two approved schools for our state of California are Suzanne Middle School and Walnut High School, which are both located in our City of Walnut. Therefore, I would encourage that your entire family support the Parent Corps effort by joining as our members and to keep our school and community drug-free. I would also appreciate if you can invite other parents or students at Suzanne Middle School to become our members.

Membership is free and simply by signing the pledge to promise to uphold the alcohol, tobacco, and drug laws, not to use addictive drugs, to do everything to prevent children from using drugs, and to work with others to make our homes, schools, and communities places where children can grow up healthy, drug-free and capable of reaching their full potential. Parents, caregivers, single individuals or college students can join as Parent Corps members. Middle and High School students can join as Youth Corps members. Elementary students can join as Kid Corps members.

If all of your family members have already become our members, I truly appreciate your support. Please then download and complete the contact verification form, send or fax it back to me. If your spouse or any child(ren) or family member(s) are not yet our members, please have them complete and sign the proper membership forms below. Then please send or fax back them to me.

Thank you for your support!

Adventures to Share

Engaging in activities such as these (Click here): Download file helps to strengthen relationships within a family or congregation. Spending time together presents an opportunity to share thoughts and teachings from your faith tradition. Spending quality time with young people is the best investment that we as adults can make in their lives. That investment will be extremely important as they face decisions about using drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
