October Newsletter
I hope you enjoy reading the information inside this newsletter. We held a very successfull Homecoming dance for our student body last Friday in the school gym. We are planning a Senior Breakfast on, October 18th to help celebrate the begining or completetion of college application and ordering caps and gowns. During October we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week from October 23-27 and we have scheduled a parental program on Tuesday, October 24th entitled Drug ID night. We will be hosting a teen program on Wednesday, October 25th dealing with Caught "Red" Handed. We will have three speakers talking the teens about consequences of being caught using their cell phones, skipping class, cheating on test, attending a party where alcohol or drugs are, purchasing tobacco, alcohol or illicit drugs and many more topics. We will be providing parents opportunities to write positive drug free messages to their teens through our Red Ribbon Candy grams during the next two weeks. Thanks to all of you who are current active members of Parent Corps and encourage your friends to get on board also. There is no membership fee, monthly meetings or committee officers. Just parents networking together to make sure we help keep our school, community and homes DRUG FREE!!!!
